Date has been set for the 6th Annual Six Barrels for Six Chefs - June 29, 2012 5:30 pm at Huff Estates Winery!!

Legend has it that this event was thought of over a barrel tasting between Huff winemaker Frederic Picard and Chef Bryan Steele. While tasting the same grape through various barrel vintages they came up with the idea to match particular dishes with various barrel samples of chardonnay and pinot noir, Six Barrels for Six Chefs was born. Now in it's sixth year, this event has brought smiles to hundreds of attendees and has successfully raised in excess of $50,000 for charity.

The event is set up with six wine and food stations scattered throughout the vineyard and each station has a different barrel sample of wine and a different chef creating a dish to pair with the wine. The party then carries back to the winery where there are desserts, local coffee and cheeses and of course live music on the patio. Please click here for a list of this year's participants.

This Year's Proceeds Donated to Autism Ontario

Autism Ontario strives to be the leading source of information and referral on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and one of the largest collective voices representing the autism community in this country.  Autism Ontario is host to many social and learning events and we pride ourselves to offer these free to our families.  

Autism Ontario is the charity families turn to when struggling with autism on a daily basis for much needed support and mentorship.  Just as importantly, we are able to provide the tools they can use to advocate the school system and focus on the needs of families so that individuals with autism can enjoy their childhood.  Just like any other kid.

The association and its chapters share common goals of providing information and education, supporting research, and advocating for programs and services for the autism community.
